The concept is that the host Jeremy Black presents brain teasers and thought experiments in an anecdotal style in relation to the fictitious town of unknown location Somber Hollow.
The story style was heavily influenced by an American podcast Welcome to Night Vale created by Joseph Fink and a Spanish show Kirlian Frequency created by Cristian Ponce. Themes from Noah Hawley’s show Legion also inspire the narrative.
